Aluminized Glass Cloth 2025/9480

Glass lagging fabric used for removable blankets, pipe wrapping, turbine blankets, fittings, flange covers and engine exhaust pipes. The fabric is heat cleaned to set the weave and reduce fraying when cut and then laminated to aluminum foil to provide a vapor barrier. Glass lagging fabrics are designed to replace asbestos. 

Aluminized fiberglass cloth - Style 2025/9480 is specifically designed for flange shield material by the U.S. Navy. Since it must meet Coast Guard Specifications, a very low percentage of adhesive is used. The fabric is heat cleaned to set the weave and reduce fraying when cut. This fabric is then laminated to aluminum foil to provide a vapor barrier.

Aluminized Glass Cloth 2025/9480 has been designed for continuous use at temperatures up to 300ºF. It has been manufactured to comply with MIL-C-20079.
