Deep corrugated sheets provide protection for insulated equipment, towers, vessels and tanks with outside diameters of 8' or more. They are available in Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Painted Aluminum with Aluminum as the most popular recommended for projects.
Aluminum Deep Corrugated Sheets are available in the following thickenesses: .016", .020", .024" ,.032" and .040".
Stainless Steel Deep Corrugated Sheets can be supplied in .010", .016", .020", and heavier thicknesses.
Deep Corrugated Sheets are available in 1-1/4" (30mm) and 2-1/2" (64mm) corrugations. The 1-1/4 corrugations have a depth of 1/4", and the 2-1/2" corrugations have a depth of 5/8". They are available in a smooth finish, painted, or stucco embossed pattern. They are specifically designed for weather-proofing insulation on vertical tanks and vessels, as well as providing mechanical abuse protection for the insulation.
Aluminum Deep Corrugated Sheets are supplied in alloys conforming to ASTM B-209 designation, and Stainless is supplied in Type 304 or Type 316 alloy. Installation procedures are available in the National Commercial and Industrial Insulation Standards, published by the Midwest Insulation Contractors Association and endorsed by the National Insulation Association.
